Getting There


Sorake Beach / Lagundri Bay Nias Island Keyhole Surf Camp provides views of Nias point and direct access to the lineup. Someone from the Wau family will be available to drive you to and from the Airport if necessary.

Flying in from Kuala Lumpur,Singapore or Jakarta to Medan International Airport (on the Indonesian island of Sumatra ).Guests are met at the airport by KeyHole surf camp staff,transfer by mini-bus/Van to Sorake/Lagundi bay-KeyHole surf camp.

There Air asia offer flight between Kuala lumpur to Medan-mess,you can book with Air asia online to Medan

Lion/Wings airline offers flight from Medan-Mes to Nias-Gunungsitoli, you can book and check the schedule with lionair.co.id  online between Nias-Medan-Penang or Jakarta to Denpasar-Bali everyday.

You can also fly from Padang (West Sumatra) into Gunungsitoli (Nias island). There are two flights a week on SMAC Airline.

Sibolga – Gunung sitoli
Departs 10:00am or 13:15pm daily.
From there it’s a 3-hour drive to the Keyhole Surf Camp in Sorake Beach/Lagundri

By Land
Getting to Nias by land is a bit of a trek. From Medan to Sibolga is an eight to ten hour ride by bus. Sibolga to Nias by ferry is 12 hours (over night crossing) to Teluk Dalam. Consider a faster ferry, which takes 3 hours from Sibolga to Gunung sitoli, north of Nias.
